SPECIAL NOTES: The Avignon historical center is small, and as a result, numerous hotels are required to accommodate the 4th International World FUE Institute workshop participants.
All hotels are a short walking distance from the Palais des Palais des Papes and the Espace Jean Laurent where all our non-surgical sessions will be held. Trams to the Palais des Papes and Espace Jean Laurent will be provided each morning for those who are staying at the Hotel Cloitre Saint Louis and the Avignon Grand Hotel.
Global Perspectives is WFI’s official affiliate for handing all hotel reservations on behalf of its participants at a special conference rate.

5* HOTEL D’ EUROPE / ONE OF THE OLDEST HOTELS IN FRANCE
Built in 1580, the Hotel d’ Europe is the former home of the Marquis de Graveson. It overlooks one of the most beautiful squares of Avignon and is very close to the Rhone River, the Palais des Papes and the famous Pont Saint-Benezet (Pont dÁvignon). In the 16th century, the house was owned by many families of the Comtat Venaissin, the most prominent of which was the family of Amat de Graveson. In 1799, Madame Pierron created her hotel and, at the insistence of General Bonaparte himself, gave it the name it still bears today. Sumptuous renovations made in 1740 attracted guests such as Alphonse de Lamartine, Victor Hugo, Charles Dickens, John Stuart Mill, etc.
In the twentieth century, many artists, actors of cinema or Heads of State have come to enrich the legend. Picasso and Salvador Dalí were among the loyal customers of the post-war period. Jacqueline Kennedy chose to stay there during her last visit to her family’s homeland in 1993. The Presidents of India, Italy and France took advantage of the luxurious suites on the 3rd floor and in 1996, during the Franco-German summit, Mr. Chirac, Mr. Kohl and Mr. Jospin spent the night.
